KCRSCCA Event #5 August 1, 2010 - ROLL CALL

Just wanted to start a thread about Event #5.

One quick piece of business, and then I'll have details about the event below. Can the following people for the event chime in so that I can know who is doing what for event 5?

Safety Steward
Jr. Safety Steward
Chief of Waivers
Chief of Workers

OK. Event #5 will be Sunday August 1, 2010 at MCC. I am planning on having the site open by 7:00 AM, drivers meeting by 9:00 AM, and then the first car off by 9:30 AM. Four runs per driver.

After some consideration I've decided that if we have extra time we will bring back fun runs. I know some love the Big Mouth Challenge, but I want to give everyone a chance to get extra runs, IF we have extra time.

I'm your safety guy. When you have a course design, let me know so I can review it. Also, I can provide a large map for the side of the truck if you want.

We are planning on doing fun runs. The BMC will not be run at this event.

I refuse to beg... except this once... if you plan on coming out to Event #5 (Aug. 1) please pre-register. Our pre-registration is only around 45 people right now. I'd like that number to be higher so that we can be sure that we are running three heats.

If you need a reason to pre-register for this event I have two words that should make you want to: FUN RUNS!!!!

I don't know about nekkid chicks, but I will be bringing my wife Michelle (to watch, not drive...yet) and our dog Indiana (a very friendly West Highland Terrier). It'll be their first event, so it will be interesting. I'm already pre-registered.

Sonja, Sam, Jana and I will be in Colorado, so we'll miss this event.

My car, however, will be there, thanks to Mr. Todd "Stig Like" Hesskamp.

Maybe i can catch some one getting pissed off at a Water Sprayer and throwing it on the pavement in grid.. :lol:

Maybe some "Real" Reality footage of a couple of "Big Dawgs" :lol:

This weeks targets are : Jake and Craig (pending if they run heats i don't..)

It is True, I will be Representin' for the Old "Non-Real M3" BMW crowd, wearing a bunch of Red circles on the back of my shirt. They seemed to work last week :-)
