Announcing the June 14/15 Heartland Park Topeka Performance Driving Experience sanctioned by the Sports Car Club of America, presented by Superior Chevrolet, Superior Toyota/Scion and Hummer of Kansas City. This event is being organized and operated by Kaw Valley Race Group.
Here is your chance to get 2 hours of track time at a world class racing facility for only $210 while enjoying expert instruction from SCCA Club Racers. Instruction will be provided to all drivers that enter the event. In later sessions drivers will be allowed to drive alone without instruction. This is a non-timed, non-competition instructional driving event that is conducted under SCCA Time Trials rules. Snell M95 or better helmets are required. While driver's suits are not required or recomended, drivers will need to wear long sleeve shirts, long pants that cover the ankles, socks and shoes (no sandles). All open top cars must have a roll bar for this event
The PDX will be run in conjunction with an SCCA Double Regional event and will feature two different course configurations (full course on Saturday and NASCAR short course on Sunday). In addition to the action provided by the SCCA Club Racers, a large contingent of GT America Stock Cars is expected as this race weekend is on their National Championship tour. So there will be lots to see in between your track sessions.
Stick around Saturday Night and enjoy a catered dinner, free beer and live musical entertainment (which is better than the dead variety)
