Well we have a date for Hallett Wednesday June 17th. Now all we need is a total of 20 cars and bikes to commit for the date. The Cost will be the same as last time $150.00 per car or bike. I need to know if you are interested by Monday May 18th or we could loose the date. I received 12 replies to the first e-mail for cars and Steve Nance said he thinks he can round up 5 to 8 bikes so we are very close if the date works for everyone. Scott at Hallett said there were no Thursdays available in June and July is too darn Hot. Please let me know if you are planning to go and if you would please let me know what vehicle you would be driving at the track. Feel free to call out to your buddies to see if they want to go. I am excited and I hope you are too!!

Let's pull this thing together and have a blast.

Looking forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call at 479-640-6312

I'm already signed up. There is usually some pretty high roller stuff with this group. 911 RUF's are the norm. It fair to say I have the biggest (and probably fastest) POS in this group. Andy's run with us before.

Still need more people to fill it

Could be Bikes too.......Jake?

There are still spots open.

Hey everyone

Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know what we have so far. First thing is I have already sent the deposit to Hallett for June 17th so the day is ours. We have 15 cars and 1 bike commited so far with several more maybes. The cost will be $150.00 if we fill all 20 slots. (So we need 4 more bikes or 5 more cars since we can't mix bikes and cars in a session )Ask you friends or buddies to see if they want to fill a slot so this remains affordable for everyone. Please send your checks for $150.00 to :

Brad Nelson

Here is the list of confirmed drivers so far, Brian Carlson, Peter Jasan, Allen Davison,Eddie Nelson,Shelia Baber, Bryan Reidy, Brent Akers,Dennie Collins,Bobby Jasan, Brad Nelson, Bryan Cabell,Jim Guyll, Doug Keller, Ron Chomiuk and Terence Cox. Kevin Mahoney is the only bike we have confirmed at this point.

I will work on the pairing for the four session after I get the a few more slots filled. Thanks for you fast responses and I look forward to

Im new here,
So a track day, can any car sign up and drive? I dont understand fully. Track day is like AutoX?

You get classes and a personal instructor? Then you can drive the track with them then alone?

Thanks

A track day is different than autox - autox is around cones, on a "temporary" course.

A track day is at a race course. Here is a lap during a track day at Hallett: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOdtrhSyJlk There are probably designated "passing zones" on the straightaways, no "door to door" racing, and multiple cars on track at the same time.

Nearly all cars can sign up and drive. (Safety check, etc.)
