WHAT IS THE KANSAS CITY CHAMPIONSHIP?
The Kansas City Championship is a fun two-day event open to all local autocrossers. Similar to a Divisional or National level event, drivers will compete over two days and combine their best runs from each day to see who wins. Awards will be presented immediately following Sunday's competition.
SPECIAL NOTES
-ONLY pre-registered competitors ARE ELIGIBLE for awards.
-Walk-up registration competitors ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for awards.
-Sunday October 5th will count towards Kansas City Region SCCA's points championship.
ENTRY FEES
1-day fee: $30
SCCA Weekend Membership: $5
If you're not an SCCA member, it will cost an extra $5 to purchase the weekend membership required by the SCCA's National Office. So the total cost for a non-SCCA member is $60 for 2-days, $35 for a single day.
EVENT STRUCTURE
There will be 3 heats.
Each heat will consist of four timed runs per driver.
Drivers will be assigned to run/work heats based on class.
The Run/Work order will be released on Wednesday October 1st.

Since another person stole my number for crown (and he has only shown up to a couple crown events), I am #29 for Crown and #26 for SCCA. Should I put that in my registration?

You need to be the same number for both days.

It depends on if the ESP Camaro shows up to KC Champs what number you can run, I'm guessing. I guess it all depends on if we are using the KCRSCCA system or the Crown system of timing & scoring.

Sounds good. Is there a way I can reserve my number for Crown next year so Mr. Camaro won't take it again?

Are the registrations low? If so, it is possible to "push" an e-mail out to ALL entrants to all the SCCA events this year. Will this help?

I assUme they are using their respective clubs database's.

That is funny! But Jerry I feel I need to tell you... that valve shims in a Honda aren't legal.

Al - (Dan checks entry list) You are not included in "YOU PEOPLE"
Bob - Indeed. 56. That's why I wonder if people understand it's being held at the "good" lot. Bill and I coordinated an email blast when registration opened.
Don - Double indeed. The Crown and SCCA db's overlap in some places, and not in others. Considering my db is over 200 addresses, I have to assume over 500 emails were sent out. Probably 300 of those were dupes.

Bwahahaha ... Go ahead, run it, Jerry. I'll protest your ass and then whine ad infinitum about tire contingencies for ... one of my buddies.
Sorry, I didn't mean to "Hector" you guys so mercilessly.
