Watched the first couple of videos just now. Nice driving, Dan. Was fun watching you put the bit between your teeth to try to track down that Z06. Always fun to have a rabbit to chase for some inspiration, in my opinion.
It's a small enough group of "repeat offenders" out there at these events regularly over the last few years that it's not too hard to know who drives what and how well they go. I've noticed that you've gotten faster every year and your lines and technique keep improving. Keep up the good work!

Hey Dan!
How are you doing? Thanks for posting the video. It was fun trying to get away from you that day, but I couldn't shake you. I remember it was really hot that day and your car was overheating.
You really need to lose the rear view mirror so we can see out the front better. Just kidding.
I saw the video from last week. Why didn't they let you run the new turn 8 and 9? I was hoping to get out and run the new turn, but had brake issues and couldn't make it.
Hope to see you at the next Touring Club event.
Jeff

Jeff,
I was wondering why you where not there. We missed you buddy. They didn't let us run the new turn because they have been having problems with people hitting the wall on DE in that turn. Since roadwarriors has a lot of newbies they didn't want to chance it.
Hope to see you at the next one,
Dan

Wow, issues with people hitting the wall at 8/9 already? Yikes. Any indication which config they'll run next month? Hoping to get to try the new configuration before the year's up.

Haven't heard anything yet but my guess is the old configuration.

SHO driver is Jess. Can't remember his last name - if I remember it I'll post back up. His "little" brother is Jake, usually drives the red Miata with the plates that say TRACDAY or something like that. They're the two muscled guys often roaming about without shirts. Very nice guys, and appear to be good drivers, too. If you get ahold of Jess, let me know, I'd like to point him at some pictures of him and his brother on track.
I know that Jess is active on one of the SHO forums, so you might be able to find him that way.

OK, I rarely post videos, but I did upload one to my Putfile account last night so I'll post one up for a change. This one is from last year, since I don't have much pulled off the tapes for this year yet.
Road Warriors Session 4, 5/10/2006.
I know it's not in keeping with the 2007 theme, but I've always been a little behind the times.
